Paul Brooking
Co-opted Governor
Paul is a proud parent of two daughters attending Prendergast School and is delighted to be appointed as a co-opted governor and hopes to bring a diverse range of experiences to the role. He and his family have lived in Brockley for over 20 years, through which time they have developed a strong connection with the area.
Paul’s academic background includes a First Class master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Bath. He trained as an accountant with PwC in London following which his career has been focussed on working for a range of listed or private, regulated, financial services businesses. He believes this blend of educational and professional experience equips him with a strategic mindset, analytical skills, and a detailed approach that he hopes will contribute positively to the governance of Prendergast School.
Beyond his professional life, you may often find him cycling through the local streets or enjoying a run in Hilly Fields Park, reflecting his commitment to a healthy and active lifestyle. Paul is eager to channel this energy and enthusiasm into supporting the school.
